Specific Position Openings:

 

Contracts Manager

I. Purpose of the Job:
The position is responsible for performing contract management, preparing bids, and linking bids to project performance through WBS. Serves as the principal point of contact for contractual matters with sub contractors and sponsoring contracting agencies.

II. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Serves as a representative of Cybernet Systems Corporation, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other employees of Cybernet Systems and with the public.

  • Must be experienced developing work breakdown structures (WBS) and linking them with time accounting, costing, and proposals. Experience implementing and bidding against EVMS.
  • Negotiates and administers contracts.
  • Coordinates the proposals and process.
  • Performs basic analyses for firm fixed-price or similar contracts.
  • Performs commonly used contracting methods and contract types related to pre-award, post-award and/or price/cost analysis functions to perform well defined and precedent contract actions.
  • Analyzes business practices and market conditions to evaluate bid responsiveness, contractor responsibility and contractor performance.
  • Presents factual information, composes memoranda, minutes and reports, and drafts contract provisions and supporting documents.
  • Assigns work in terms of objectives, priorities and deadlines and provides additional assistance with new or unusual assignments.
  • Plans and carries out recurring work using established procedures, conferring with the supervisor or higher-level specialists as necessary on technical problems.
  • Works with customers internally and externally.

III. Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors with patents and trademarks submission process.
  • Solicits bids to procure a variety of required goods and services.

IV. Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • May supervise or coordinate the work of interns, Administrative Associates and lower lever Contract Administrators.
  • Includes interview, suggest hire/ terminate for positions as needed.
  • Create and conduct performance reviews for subordinates.

V. Knowledge and Skill:

  • Experience in contracts management for Small and Large Defense entities.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration finance, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in grant, DoD applications and administration.
  • Equivalent job experience between 5-8 years.
  • Preferred business experience outside local area.

Principal IA Analyst

This Information Assurance team position acts primarily as a technical lead. The candidate should have expert level experience in Information Assurance for the design, development and integration of security solutions in Windows and Linux operating environments. This position:

  • Technically manages the security certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts of information systems, networks, and site accreditations.
  • Assists in the design of information security for our customer's applications, networks and stand alone devices.
  • Leads the development of DIACAP IA packages and security test plans/procedures for complete computer networks.
  • Performs security analysis of system risks/vulnerabilities.
  • Manages the scanning and patching of Windows/Linux systems using automated tools.
  • Provides computer and network security engineering from system concept through advanced development to product delivery.
  • Works with government and prime's integrated product teams for delivery of DIACAP packages and other security documentation.

BA/BS plus 6-8 years of directly related experience. MA/MS plus 4-6 years of directly related experience. CISSP or Security + certified professionals preferred. Must have high level of experience in Network Administration/Engineering. Linux/Unix/Solaris experience a plus. Vulnerability scanning and penetration testing required, using tools such as eye retina scanners, Harris STAT, ISS and etc. Security Testing required. Secret Security clearance required. United States citizenship is also required.

Senior IA Analyst

This Information Assurance team position acts primarily as the lead system security analyst. The candidate should have a high level of experience and knowledge in Information Assurance for the design, development and integration of security solutions in Windows and Linux operating environments. This position:

  • Performs the hands-on security integration, development, testing, and security implementation.
  • Performs in all activities of certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts of information systems, networks, and site accreditations.
  • Assists in the design of information security for our customers applications, networks and stand alone devices.
  • Supports the development of DIACAP IA packages and security test plans/procedures for complete computer networks.
  • Supports and mediates security analysis of system risks/vulnerabilities.
  • Participates with teams for the scanning and patching of Windows/Linux systems using IA/IS tools.
  • Provides computer and network security analysis and engineering, from design through advanced development to product delivery.
  • Works with integrated product teams for delivery of DIACAP packages and other security documentation.

BA/BS plus 3 -5 years of directly related experience. MA/MS plus 2-4 years of directly related experience. CISSP or Security + certified professionals preferred. Must have high level of experience in Network Administraton/Engineering. Linux/Unix/Solaris experience a plus. IA Analyst

This Information Assurance team position acts primarily as a system security analyst. The candidate should have experience and knowledge in Information Assurance for the integration of security solutions in Windows and Linux operating environments. This position:

  • Performs the hands-on security integration, development, testing, and security implementation.
  • Performs in all activities of certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts of information systems, networks, and site accreditations.
  • Assists in the securing of all information security for our customer's applications, networks and stand alone devices.
  • Supports the development of DIACAP IA packages and security test plans/procedures for complete computer networks.
  • Supports security analysis of system risks/vulnerabilities.
  • Participates with teams for the scanning and patching Windows/Linux systems using IA/IS tools.
  • Provides computer and network security analysis, from development to product delivery.
  • Works with integrated product teams for delivery of DIACAP packages and other security documentation.

BA/BS in Information Systems or similar technical degree plus 1 -3 years of directly related experience. CISSP or Security + certified professionals preferred. Must have experience in Network/System Administraton. Linux/Unix/Solaris experience a plus. Knowledge of vulnerability scans and penetration testing required using tools such as eye retina scanners, Harris STAT, ISS and etc. Secret Security clearance required. United States citizenship is also required.

IA Intern

This Information Assurance team position is either for interns or initial entry IA professionals. The candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science or related discipline. There is no work related experience required. We will accept an Associate’s Degree with five years of network security experience. Cybernet will provide on-the-job Information Assurance (IA) training to the individual. The candidate will receive training under the direct supervision of one of our IA professionals. A background with both Windows and Linux operating environments is required. This position:

  • Performs the hands-on security integration, development, testing, and security implementation of various information systems.
  • Performs in all activities of certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts of information systems, networks, and site accreditations.
  • Assists in the securing of all information security for our customer's applications, networks and stand alone devices.
  • Supports the development of DIACAP IA packages and security test plans/procedures for complete computer networks.
  • Supports security analysis of system risks/vulnerabilities.
  • Participates with teams for the scanning and patching Windows/Linux systems using IA/IS tools.
  • Provides computer and network security analysis, from development to product delivery.
  • Works with integrated product teams for delivery of DIACAP packages and other security documentation.

The following are considered as plusses:

  • Any work towards a CISSP or Security + certified professionals.
  • Any experience in Network/System Administration.
  • Linux/Unix/Solaris experience.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scans and penetration testing required using tools such as eye retina scanners, Harris STAT, ISS and etc.

United States citizenship is required. Must be eligible for a Secret Security clearance.
