Cybernet Systems Corporation will be exhibiting at the Navy's 2017 Forum for SBIR/STTR Transision (FST) conference on April 3-5, 2017, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland. This forum connects Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) funded technologies with warfighters, government acquisition programs and personnel, large commercial primes, system integrators, and other potential partners and collaborators.

Cybernet will be exhibiting its Interactive Instructor for Shipboard Technicians, a Phase II SBIR program under NAVSEA. The Interactive Instructor is an intelligent information repository software tool for shipboard technicians, which automates complex troubleshooting of maintenance and operations of naval electronics. The Interactive Instructor provides technical support, expert knowledge, and predictive analysis to maintainers. Cybernet Systems Corporation is an Ann Arbor based research and development company focused on creating and commercializing innovative, high quality, leading-edge solutions in the areas of Human-Computer Interaction, Robotics, Computer Vision Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Automation. The Interactive Instructor improves system up time, and reduces maintenance expense and time by eliminating the "trial and error" replacement of parts, many of which are good. Initial platforms targeted for technology transition include the AEGIS Combat System.

"The benefits to the Navy are the reduction of maintenance time from fault to problem diagnosis and resolution, reduction of the access time for maintenance produces, and the reduction of the number of Distance Support requests," said, Charles J. Cohen, Chief Technology Officer of Cybernet. "We have a strong desire to partner with developers of shipboard systems that require expert maintenance and look forward to meeting military and corporate representatives at this exciting forum."
