Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Cybernet is a small business founded in 1989 and has completed hundreds of U.S. Department of Defense contracts.

Cybernet Chairman Emertitus, Heidi Jacobus founded the company while pursuing her doctorate in computer science from the University of Illinois, Urbana. With current Chairman Chuck Jacobus, her husband, Heidi launched the company with the ultimate objective of blurring the lines of human interaction with devices to the point where such interaction becomes transparent.
