PROJECT MISSION

Cybernet developed a Moiré sensor head design and conceptual plan for robotic positioner to allow inspection of the inside areas of tanks & containment areas to check for leaks. The sensor consisted of a 3-D contouring data capture system accurate to greater than 2 mm that is based on Moiré interferometry. The conceptual system used color CCD cameras and multi-spectral data capture technology to address wider areas than are covered by traditional nondestructive inspection techniques.
