Cybernet designed and built an integrated force reflecting arm, hand and finger system for teleoperated robot control applications. The design reduced complexity by distilling the degrees of freedom to a manageable number; reduced the size/weight of the device through improved inertia reduction technology; incorporated advanced grip technology to allow better fit for a wide range of arm, hand, wrist & finger sizes; and streamlined finger/thumb actuators to allow maximum use of existing Cybernet technology and software.
