This project used Cybernet Gesture Technology to provide real-time recognition and automatic learning of gestures used by the Army squad leaders for use within immersive dismounted soldier training systems. The effort focused on: 1. Packaging a Gesture Recognition System Software Development Kit (SDK) that utilizes untagged hand and body movement recognition. The SDK allows for easy use and expansion by programmers. 2. Inclusion of automatic gesture learning into the SDK. 3. Developing a system for recognizing Army hand/body gestures for use in the Land Warrior Training Simulators. 4. Developing gesture controlled interfaces for self-service machines for commercial use.
