Cybernet performed a study of the needed digital communications network at the Center for Advanced Technologies, identified areas requiring improvement, and generated a complete digital network design. The design facilitated the client’s goals of ensuring an effective electronics communication infrastructure using state-of-the-art communications technology and establishing a migration path to future technologies. The high-speed data network was then installed to support CAD/CAM applications, multimedia production process bundles, manufacturing communications, educational electronic library, interactive multimedia computer-based training, corporate e-mail, desktop conferencing, WAN integration, video conferencing, and teleconferencing.
