The goal of the Intelligent Medical Logistics Planning System (IMLPS) SBIR effort is to leverage advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL) for information collection, processing, and sharing can improve disruption-related alert, analytic, and decision-making capabilities for Indo-Pacific Command’s Medical Logistics function. For the Phase II and beyond, Cybernet will develop a hybrid Artificial Intelligence / Human Analyst IMLPS that will greatly a) reduce the time collecting the medical supply data and generating understanding for the events that potentially impact the supply chain, and b) predict potential issues in the supply chain during normal medical logistics activities as well as during emergency responses, and c) recommend responses to such external events based on the supervised learning from medical logistics experts as they respond to similar events.
