Under this project Cybernet is applying a hierarchical system of intelligent agents to perform complete timeline and geographic text processing. To facilitate the proper functionality of these agents, we are utilizing concepts such as Bayesian belief networks. Capabilities of this system include: the ability to identify defined relationships of geographic locations between different documents and maps, build a confidence structure based on these relationships, and create tagged maps and to provide answers to geographic queries in a human-readable form.
