Cybernet designed an innovative approach to collect tissue oxygenation data both at the surface and at adjustable deep-tissue levels, using multiple probe locations to develop a reliable volumetric profile. Work included performing exhaustive research into current oximetry and time-resolved spectroscopy techniques, surveying clinician requirements and operational procedures, designing experiments and collecting test data, and generating a prototype device using Cybernet’s existing multichannel data collection and portable monitoring technology.
